Planetary ball mill
Several facilities for homogenization, particle size reduction and deagglomeration include a planetary ball mill with tungsten carbide bowl and media (Model PM-100, Retsch, Haan, Germany), high-speed centrifuge (Model Centrific 225A, Fisher Scientific, Hampton, NH), a variable amplitude ultrasonic disruptor with 3/4 inch Solid Probe (Model TSD 750 Sonicator, Tekmar-Dohrmann, Cincinnati, OH), high-shear homogenizer equipped with vacuum-sealed stainless steel processing chamber (Ultra-Turrax T25, IKA Works, Wilmington, NC), and a powder blender (Mini-Inversina, Laval Lab, Quebec, Canada).
